How does it work?
If you have eczema your skin loses its protective barrier. It cannot produce enough fats and oils, called lipids, that are needed to retain water and keep the skin moist and supple. Gaps open up between the skin cells, allowing bacteria or irritants to pass through.
This results in the typical eczema symptoms such as redness, itching and cracking of the skin.
Dermalex Hand Irritation is unique in that it helps relieve eczema in several ways:
- Moisturises the affected skin.
- Helps replenish the missing lipids to help restore the skin’s protective barrier.
- Helps prevents irritants and allergens from entering the skin and triggering new flare-ups.
Does not contain Corticosteroids, Calcineurin-inhibitors, artificial colouring or parabens.

How to use it?
Dermalex Hand Irritation can be used by adults and children from the age of 6 years. Apply it 2 to 3 times a day on the affected parts of your skin, after cleansing. Massage it gently into the affected skin. Make sure that you shower or bathe before applying it. A mild burning or tingling sensation is expected but should dissipate after 2-3 days. If it does not discontinue, stop applying the cream and consult your doctor as you may be sensitive to one of the ingredients.
Dermalex is safe for long-term use, so you can use it daily for as long as the symptoms persist. You can also safely use Dermalex over large parts of your body. However, you should not apply the cream on injured skin.
We advise you to consult a specialist if you are pregnant, or if more than 40% of your body is affected.
